Projects
This section highlights selected academic and research projects completed throughout my graduate studies in Financial and Enterprise Risk Management at the University of Connecticut. Each project reflects my work at the intersection of quantitative finance, risk modeling, and emerging areas such as InsurTech and enterprise risk, translating classroom rigor into real-world analytical frameworks.

Power At Risk
This project examines one of the most pressing vulnerabilities in that stack: power. As AI-driven demand surges, the U.S. grid system is being pushed to its limits and the supply simply isn’t keeping up. Through this research, I explored how the U.S. grid operates, the forces driving unprecedented growth in power consumption, and why the projected supply shortfall over the next several years poses a significant risk not just to the tech industry, but to the broader economy.

StockTrak Portfolio Structure
This project put theory into practice through a live $1M virtual equity portfolio simulation on StockTrak, where our team of four navigated real market conditions over three months: executing 49 trades across 20 holdings while applying institutional-grade portfolio construction techniques. At the core of our approach was the Black-Litterman model, which we used to compare optimal weight allocations across three return methodologies: Historical Returns, Implied Equilibrium, and Black-Litterman posterior returns.
