Front-to-Back Liquidity: Building Resilience Across the Lines
Last week, I walked into a room at 𝗦𝗠𝗕𝗖 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘀 in New York City, as a student member of 𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗣 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗬𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿, and heard about the Velocity of Liquidity, Stress Testing 2.0, 1st and 2nd Line Collaboration and Ai Impact
A few things that stayed with me:
→ Stress testing isn’t a periodic event. It’s a continuous state of mind. Because the next crisis never looks like the last one.
→ FTP is the most powerful, and most underappreciated, tool for translating risk into behavior that actually changes.
→ AI won’t save us from uncertainty. But combined with human judgment, it might help us navigate it faster.
I’m still learning. Still a student trying to understand how the pieces fit together.
But rooms like that remind me why I chose this field…
Here’s some of the photographs I’ve taken during the event:
