Volunteer badge. Notebook in hand. Entirely out of my comfort zone.
I had the opportunity of volunteering at the InsurTech America Symposium 2026 – two full days immersed in conversations about the future of insurance, innovation, and technology.
Innovators, underwriters, founders, and risk leaders, all traveling from across the country (and beyond), reuniting in one room because they believe insurance is worth reimagining.
I sat in the front row.
I listened.
I talked to people I would have only seen on LinkedIn.
And none of this would have been possible without Stacey Brown, MBA and Myra Brown who were so thoughtful in welcoming every volunteer. The T-shirt, the carefully prepared name packet… those small details meant more than they know.
