The journey of a shepherd girl to the pyramids in search of treasure, discovering my personal legend and the wisdom gained from following my dreams along the way.
…….
Originally from Xuyen Moc, Viet Nam, I came halfway around the world to the United States to explore, learn, and elevate myself to new heights, stepping out of my comfort zone and into a world I had never seen before. I carry with me a suitcase filled with ambition, curiosity, fearlessness, and a willingness to learn, engage, and contribute wherever I go.
……..
I’m curious about where my journey will take me over the next 10 years. But one thing for sure that I am better than I was yesterday and tomorrow will be better than today.

With over four years of experience in commercial banking and pre-construction real estate, I am deeply passionate about building a long-term career in financial and risk management. I would like to bring the skill sets I have cultivated over the past several years and integrate them into the U.S. financial service industry.

I am pursuing the MS in Financial and Enterprise Risk Management (MS FERM) at the University of Connecticut. While developing expertise in U.S. capital markets, risk management, and insurance and asset management, I am also working towards risk management professional certificates and the CFA designation.

My skill set includes sales, customer service, relationship management, insurance analysis and financial risk analysis. I am proficient in R, Python, Power BI, Microsoft Excel, Word, Sharepoint, PowerPoint, Canva, and ERM system. I continuously refine and expand my skills through daily practice and learning.

Beyond my professional pursuits, I find joy in tennis, traveling, reading, and learning. Movies and meditation help me slow down, while daily and monthly journaling is my most meaningful habit – a quiet space where I reflect, create, and grow.

Following my love for writing, I enjoy sharing stories about my journey, the lessons I have learned along the way, and my reflections on books, movies, and meaningful moments in life with the hope of helping someone, even just one person, find greater motivation and inspiration to pursue their dreams.

Looking back at 2025 (and the recent winter break), the biggest lesson I have learned is…
I did it! Something I thought was impossible.
“I work hard, play hard, and endeavor to live a meaningful purposeful life!“
